Bus crash in Kırsehir kills 3, injures 35

A passenger bus reportedly overturned to the roadside ditch in Turkiye's central province in Kırşehir, killed 3 people while other 35 people were injured.

The bus belonging to a private company on the Ankara-Kayseri Highway was overturned on Wednesday. At least 3 people died in the accident, while 35 other people injured in the crash, including 6 in serious condition.

The 62 AR 671 plate passenger bus traveling from Kırşehir to Ankara was overturned caused by snow near Akpınar district.

Upon the notification, the Provincial Directorate of Disaster and Emergency [AFAD], National Medical Rescue [UMKE], 112 Emergency Service and gendarmerie teams were sent to the accident area.

The wounded reportedly hospitalized by medical teams while 6 of them reportedly are in serious condition.

On the other hand, Ankara-Kayseri Highway was closed for transportation due to snow.
