Bus crashes into parked truck kills 13 people

In Turkiye's Çorum, 13 passengers lost their lives in the accident that a bus crashed into a parked semi-trailer truck, 15 people were injured.

The 60 FH 302 plate bus belonging to the Imparator Tourism Company traveling from Istanbul to Tokat province has collided into a parked semi-trailer truck at the 30th kilometer of the Osmancık-Kargı highway.

The fire broke out in the bus after the accident took place at around 05.30 early morning on Tuesday.

Because of both the crash and the fire, 13 people lost their lives in the accident and 15 people were injured.

The sources said that it was difficult to clarify the number of people who lost their lives because the bus was completely burnt. Officials expressed concern that the death toll could grow, due to severe injuries among surviving passengers.
