In a statement made by OPCW, it was announced that chlorine gas was used in the attack on El Talil Neighborhood in Seraqib in Syria.

The report was based on witnesses, environmental samples in the local environment and medical reports of people exposed to chlorine and other toxic chemicals.

In the OPCW statement, it was condemned and emphasized that the use of chemical weapons as weapons under all circumstances is contrary to the Chemical Weapons Convention.
