While the debate was ongoing whether the IYI Part will enter the election or not that to be held on June 24, 2018, CHP and IYI Party agreed on the results of the talks. Some 15 CHP deputies resigned and switched to IYI Party.
With this action, it was stated that the IYI Party would be able to form a group in the Turkish Grand National Assembly [TGNA] and will enter the election. IYI Party, which has only 5 deputies in the parliamentary, will reach to the number of deputies to form a group in TGNA. Also, there is no need for the IYI Party President Akşener to collect 100,000 signing conditions to be a candidate for president.
It was announced that the agreement between the two parties was given the "National Will Formula" name.
