Coast Guards apprehend 101 irregular migrants off Muğla and Çanakkale costs

Turkish Coast Guard teams apprehended 101 irregular migrants off Muğla and Çanakkale costs, trying to leave the country.

Coast Guard teams in Bodrum, reported that a group of irregular migrants off the coast of Gümüşlük was trying to leave the country by an inflatable boat.

A total of 44 migrants, including 17 men, 9 women, and 18 children, from Afghanistan, who were on an inflatable boat, were apprehended by the coast guard, a statement said.

Migrants brought to shore by Coast Guard boat were handed over to Provincial Directorate of Migration administration after the identification process.
