Fatalities and the number of cases with coronavirus, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and spread all over the world, continue to climb in the U.S.
According to the Johns Hopkins University, 3,800 people have died from the pandemic in the past 24 hours, rising the county’s death toll due to the virus to 37,086.
Th United States has so far reported 706,779 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of more than30,000 cases in the last 24 hours.
“I think, right now, we are heading at probably around 60,000, maybe 65,000 deaths,” said the U.S President Donald Trump during the White House coronavirus task force news conference.
