The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The number of deaths from coronavirus outbreak is rising. While measures against the pandemic, which the countries of the world are desperate for, are being strictly implemented, the disease is severely affecting the world economy.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 1,483,382 cases, followed by Spain with 271,095 cases, Russia with 242,271 cases, the United Kingdom with 229,705 cases, Italy with 222,104 cases, Brazil with 190,137 cases, France with 178,060 cases, Germany with 174,098 cases, Turkey with 143,114 cases, Iran with 112,725 cases and China with 82,929 cases.
A total of 1,661,536 patients have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide.
