Death toll from coronavirus in Turkey rises by 154 in last 24 hours

154 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 31,230, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 3,240,577, after 32,404 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 1,998 patients are in critical condition, 2,975,108 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

38,102,747 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
