Death toll from coronavirus rises to 140 in the zionist occupation regime

90 new case have been confirmed with coronavirus in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of cases to 12,591, the so-called health ministry of zionist regime said.

While 180 patients are being treated in intensive care unit, 133 patients are mechanically ventilated.

While 757 cases get treatment in Israeli hospitals, there are 7417 cases getting treatment in their houses and 1229 in hotels.

The first case of the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic in Israel was confirmed on 21 February 2020, after a female citizen tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 at the Sheba Medical Center after return from quarantine on the Diamond Princess ship in Japan.

Zionist regime posted new regulations, effective 15 March. These included banning gatherings of more than 10 people, and closure of all educational institutions, among them daycare centers, special education, youth movements, and after-school programs.

The list of venues required to close included: malls, restaurants, hotel dining rooms, pubs, dance clubs, gyms, pools, beaches, water and amusement parks, zoos and petting zoos, bathhouses and ritual baths for men, beauty and massage salons, event and conference venues, public boats and cable cars, and heritage sites. Take-away restaurants, supermarkets, and pharmacies were to remain open.
