The Baghdad administration lifted the ban on international flights of Iraqi Kurdistan Administration, which it launched before the referendum.
Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said that flights from the airports in the Kurdistan Region will start on Thursday.
Abadi expressed that the airports would operate within the Iraqi Interior Ministry.
"The international flight ban on Iraqi Kurdistan Administration (KRG) airports will be lifted before the Nowruz Festival on March 21," said Abadi four days ago before the newly statement.
