Detention orders issued against 96 FETO members

An operation was launched in 25 provinces based on Istanbul and Ankara against FETO members structured in Turkish Armed Forces.

Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Turkish Armed Forces Organization, detention decisions were made on 96 people in 25 provinces in Istanbul and Ankara.

Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued a detention order against FETO members structured in Turkish Armed Forces. Within the scope of the investigation conducted against FETO in accordance with the confessors' statements communicating from the payphone or fixed lines within the organization, detention order issued against a total of 45 suspects, including 20 soldiers, 17 of whom were active duty.

2 of the suspects, whom detention orders were given about are colonel, 4 are majors, 1 is captain, 7 are the first lieutenant, and 9 were reported to be non-commissioned officers.
