Diplomat at Netherlands Embassy in Turkey visits Ilke News Agency

The First Secretary of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ankara, Carlijn Lubbinge, who was travelling to the southeastern province of Diyarbakır in Turkey for a series of meetings, visited Ilke News Agency.

Lubbinge was received by the Director General of Ilke News Agency Mahmut İrtem at the agency's headquarters.

Mehmet Sıddık Kurt, deputy director general of the agency, and Mehmet Emin Can, the head of English Desk, were also present at the meeting.

During the meeting, the impact of the COVID -19 pandemic on the daily lives of people in the region, the Kurdish issue, which is one of Turkey's biggest challenges, and the current security policies of the Turkish government were discussed.
