Diyarbakir International Airport to stay closed for a month

Airport officials have announced that all operations are to be suspended at Diyarbakir International Airport for a month due to the closure of the airport’s runways for maintenance repairs.

The Diyarbakir International Airport will have shut all flight movements for a month starting from May 24 to June 24, 2021, due to the runway recarpeting works in progress currently.

All flights will have to cancel, delay, or divert flights to other airports during this period, officials said.
