Dozens killed or wounded as voters go to polls in Pakistan

In the bombed attack carried out in Pakistan, 32 people lost their lives as voters go to polls.

31 people were killed and dozens injured in an attack on a police station in the Ketta town of Baluchistan, in Pakistan.

A police convoy was targeted where the National Assembly (NA) and state council elections began in the country. At least 31 people, including two police officers were killed and nearly 40 were injured.

There are 106 million registered voters in the country where both national and four state parliamentary elections are held. More than 30 political parties and 12,570 candidates are competing in the elections.

The ballot boxes will be closed at around 8:00 pm local time.
