Flames rising from Abqaiq and Khurais oil settlements were taken under control in the early hours of the morning, the Saudi Interior Ministry said Saturday.
Last July, a fire broke out at the Aramco oil refinery in Riyadh. Saudi Aramco officials said the fire was caused by a technical fault, but the Houthis in Yemen said the fire at the refinery was caused by their own drone attacks.
Saudi regime-led coalition forces have been carrying out attacks against Houthis in Yemen since March 2015 in support of Mansur Hadi's government.
At least 15 thousand civilians have died in the attacks so far. Yemen's infrastructure is also 80 percent unusable.
The Houthis also respond to attacks by the Saudi regime at times using missiles and drones.
