Egyptian police raid on Anadolu Agency's Cairo office, detaining 4 employees

Four employees including 1 Turkish citizen were taken into custody to unknown destination on Tuesday, the reports said.

Egyptian police raided Cairo office of Anadolu Agency and detained four employees. The detainees, who include one Turkish citizen, were taken to an unknown destination.

"Turkey strongly condemns Egyptian police raid on Anadolu Agency's Cairo office, urges immediate release of 4 employees," Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a written statement.
