According to the fatwas announced in Arab countries, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Yemen, Palestine, Jordan, Oman, Egypt, Sudan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Libya, Tunisia, Morocco, and Algeria observed Friday as Eid al-Fitr due to the appearance of the crescent symbolizing the beginning of Eid of Ramadan.
