Erdoğan holds a phone conversation with Iraqi Prime Minister Kadhimi

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan talked to Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Kadhimi over the phone.

During the phone conversation, Erdoğan congratulated Kadhimi on the formation of the new Iraqi government and affirming support for Iraq and the Iraqi people.

They also discussed the global fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic as well as bilateral relations and regional developments, according to Turkey’s Directorate of Communications.
