Indicating that the zionist regime's unlawfulness and inhumane attacks were essentially addressed to all Muslims, Erdoğan drew attention to the importance of concerted action to stop Israel's attacks immediately, to ensure that the international community would give a strong and deterrent reaction to these attacks, to take concrete steps against unlawful practices, and to support Palestine.
Erdoğan pointed out that it was important that the United Nations Security Council intervened in the matter before the crisis further worsened, and efforts should be exerted to send an international peacekeeping force to the region in order to protect the Palestinian civilians.
Moreover, upon the directive of Erdoğan, the Presidency of Religious Affairs held an "Extraordinary Meeting on Al-Quds" with the agenda of "Al-Aqsa Mosque and Al-Quds", which was attended by the Religious Affairs Ministers and Presidents as well as Grand Muftis from Islamic countries.
