Erdoğan, Putin hold phone conversation

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Vladimir Putin of Russia to discuss the recent developments in Afghanistan.

“The situation in Afghanistan in the wake of the Taliban taking power in that country was discussed in detail during the conversation. The Presidents agreed to strengthen bilateral coordination on the Afghan issue,” the Russian presidency said.
