Erdoğan, Russian President Putin talk over phone

Russian President Vladimir Putin informed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a phone call about the trilateral meeting with the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The Azerbaijan-Armenia issue as well as the situations in Syria and Libya were discussed during the conversation, according to Turkey’s presidency.

On Monday, the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan sat down for the first time since last year's war in Nagorno-Karabakh region.

The sides have agreed to take joint action to restore transport in the region, according to a statement that was issued following the meeting.
