Erdoğan, Trump discuss Manbij and Idlib

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump, discussed Manbij and Idlib.

Discussing the bilateral issues and the developments in Syria, the two leaders addressed the arrangements concerning Manbij and Idlib.

President Erdoğan and his U.S. counterpart underscored their determination to take constructive steps aimed at further consolidating the bilateral relations between Turkiye and the U.S.

The two leaders agreed to remain in close contact in the period ahead, as well, regarding both bilateral and regional issues.

Condemning the attack on the synagogue in the U.S. city of Pittsburgh during the phone call, President Erdoğan offered his condolences to the relatives of those who lost their lives and to the U.S. people and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
