Erdoğan warns against coronavirus outbreak

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan performed Friday prayer at Grand Çamlıca Mosque in Istanbul.

In remarks following the prayer, Erdoğan warned against coronavirus outbreak, which has claimed the lives of more than 3,300 people, with nearly 100,000 confirmed cases.

Erdoğan also drew attention to Turkey’s ongoing endeavor both in Libya and Syria. On the meeting he had with President Vladimir Putin of Russia yesterday, President Erdoğan said: "We had martyrs. We finally sat down and agreed upon the declaration of a ceasefire as of midnight yesterday. We hope this holds and therefore such a war between a Muslim and another Muslim comes to an end."
