Addressing a symposium titled “National Will from Tutelage to Democracy”, President Erdoğan said: “National will and democracy will never again come side by side with coup and tutelage in this country. “We will resolutely defend the gains of our nation”

“With its parliament, presidency, judiciary, ministries, institutions and particularly with its military and diplomacy, Turkey has started to make much faster progress towards its goals as it has been pursuing its own game plans,” said Erdoğan, noting: “We now make our own decisions by ourselves and determinedly implement them. There is now a Turkey which is capable of entering into any kind of endeavor, when need be.”

Erdoğan continued as follows: “National will and democracy will never again come side by side with coup and tutelage in this country. We will resolutely defend the gains of our country and nation. We build all our plans, actions and calculations for the future on our allegiance to the superiority of the national will.”
