European countries decide dollarless trade with Iran

Major European countries party to nuclear negotiations with Iran – France, Germany and the UK - have agreed to maintain trade with Tehran independent from the US dollar.

Ministers of Germany, England, France and Russia, the party to nuclear negotiations with Iran, apart from the US, announced that they had reached a consensus on the continuation of dollarless trade with Iran.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated the US sanctions against Iran are absolutely illegal and unacceptable policy he made on the subject, saying that the European countries, Britain, Germany, and France, who have signed a nuclear deal with Iran, have reached an agreement for a dollarless trade.

Russia's foreign minister said they have reached an agreement on maintaining trade with Iran and protecting the nuclear deal.  

In his statement, the Russian foreign minister added that they have a common view that the US withdrawing from the deal and sanctioning policies are absolutely illegal and unacceptable.
