EU's criticism to Kosovo over extraditions

The European Union criticized Kosovo over the six FETO members taken into custody and extradited to Turkiye.

European Union reacted to Kosovo over the six FETO members, who were detained in a joint operation with MIT and deported to Turkiye.

EU Western Balkans and Turkiye Director Angelina Eichhorst said the event "raised many questions in Brussels, on due process, transparency, and justice."

Six FETO employees, working at a school as teachers in Pristina, capital of Kosovo, detained and deported to Turkiye on March 29. Kosovo Prime Minister Ramus Haradinaj has dismissed his interior minister and intelligence chief for carrying out the expulsions without his permission.

President Erdoğan later criticized Haradinaj and said the operation carried out "in solidarity" by MIT and Kosovo intelligence service.
