Flood in Turkiye's Ordu

Bridges demolished due to heavy rainfall in 3 districts of the Ordu province and on the coast road, while 165 people reportedly were stuck.

Four bridges were demolished in Ünye district according to first determinations while some of 165 people in hazelnut factories were stuck and tons of hazelnuts are expressed as wasted.

"The flood is effective in our Perşembe, Ünye and Fatsa districts due to heavy rains fall from last night," said Ordu Governor in a statement.

"There are numerous landslides, floods and river flood events in Perşembe, Fatsa and Ünye districts where 80 kilograms of rainfall recorded in a meter square," read the statement made by the governorate of Ordu.

During the search and rescue works, it was seen that helicopters rescued some people, who stuck due to the flood.
