Two were reportedly found and caught at a parking lot in the Arab city of Shibli–Umm al-Ghanam in northern Israel (1948 occupied Palestine) in at dawn Saturday.
The other pair were rounded up near the Arab city of Nazareth on Friday night.
The four prisoners were identified as Mahmoud Aredah, Yakoub Qaderi (members of the Islamic Jihad Movement), Zakaria Zubeidi (a former commander of Fatah’s disbanded al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade in Jenin), and Mohamed Aredah (Islamic Jihad member and the younger brother of the reported mastermind of the jailbreak).
A feverish manhunt was launched on Monday after the six prisoners had tunneled out of Gilboa prison in northern Israel, in the first Palestinian prison break on this scale in 20 years.
Searches are still underway for the remaining two escapees, Iham Kamamji and Munadel Nafiyat.
