Following the reports that Egypt's first and only elected President Muhammad Morsi has passed away in the courtroom, Turkish Diyanet announced that funeral prayer in absentia will be held throughout the country, in 81 provinces and other towns.
Diyanet added that the funeral prayers will be held in a central mosque in the town or Grand Mosques of cities following noon prayer.
