The United Nations Palestinian Refugee Agency (UNRWA) has once again shown its insincerity, announcing that 113 people working in the Emergency Program in Gaza will not be refurbished.
The UNRWA Employees' Association wrote in a written statement that the contract for service hundreds of permanent employees had been turned into temporary employment contracts.
In a statement, the agency said it had canceled the Emergency Program in June and that it constitutes a major threat to food aid offered to 1.3 million Palestinian refugees.
The United Nations Middle East Peace Process Special Coordinator Nickolay Mladenov, addressing Gazans protesting the ending of their work, announced that UNRWA will suspend certain operations in Gaza beginning in August.
