The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The number of deaths from coronavirus outbreak is rising. While measures against the pandemic, which the countries of the world are desperate for, are being strictly implemented, the disease is severely affecting the world economy. As a result, some countries have begun to ease the measures in an effort to recover their economies.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 1,793,530 cases, followed by Brazil with 468,338 cases, Russia with 387,623 cases, Spain with 285,644 cases, the United Kingdom with 271,222 cases, Italy with 232,248 cases, France with 186,835 cases, Germany with 183,019 cases, India 173,763 cases, Turkey with 162,120 cases, Peru with 148,285 cases, Iran with 146,668 cases and Chile with 90,638 cases.
A total of 2,661,798 patients have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide.
