Global death toll from coronavirus surpasses 470,930

A total of 9,060,870 people has so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.

The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.

However, the countries began to ease measures against the coronavirus pandemic, which has been severely affecting the world economy.

However, the World Health Organization reported over 183,000 cases in a 24-hour period, its highest single-day increase in the number of new coronavirus cases.

The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus related fatalities with 122,248 deaths, followed by Brazil with 50,659 deaths, the United Kingdom with 42,632 deaths, Italy with 34,634 deaths.

A total of 4,847,018 have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide.
