Gunmen kill at least 100 civilians in Burkina Faso

Armed attackers killed at least 100 civilians in a northern Burkina Faso village, the government said on Saturday.

The assailants attacked the village of Solhan in Yagha province bordering Niger, killing residents of the village.

They also burned homes and shops, according to local sources.

No group has so far claimed the responsibility for the attack.
