“The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas denounced the Israeli occupation chief of staff Aviv Kohavi’s threats to target civilian areas in any future offensives against Gaza or Lebanon,” HAMAS spokesperson Hazem Qasem said.
Qasem underlined that Kochavi’s threats blatantly reflected the bullying logic adopted by the Zionist occupation against the Palestinian people and the Arab world.
“Such threats are not new. The israeli occupation army has repeatedly committed massacres against the Arab people in all offensives and wars. The Israeli occupation will be unable to achieve victory in any future confrontations and that’s why it plans to target civilians.”
“The Palestinian resistance would always defend its people against any Israeli aggression,” Qasem emphasized.
Qasem underlined that such repeated threats will not deter our Palestinian people from continuing their struggle to restore their homeland and holy sites.
