HAMAS delegation led by Haneyya arrives in Beirut

A high-level delegation from the HAMAS Movement led by head of its political bureau Ismail Haneyya arrived in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, on Tuesday evening.

In a press release, Hamas said that the delegation includes Maher Salah, head of the Movement abroad, Ezzat al-Resheq, head of the Arab and Islamic relations office, and Husam Badran, head of the national relations office.

The delegation was received by Palestinian ambassador to Lebanon Ashraf Dabbour, senior Hezbollah official Hasan Hoballah, and senior Hamas officials in the country.

Haneyya intends to attend the conference to be held simultaneously in Beirut and Ramallah on Thursday by the general secretaries and heads of the Palestinian factions.

The visiting delegation is scheduled to hold a number of meetings with Lebanese and Palestinian officials in the country.
