Hamas denounces the wave of normalizing relations with the occupation regime

Musa Abu Marzouk, a member of the Islamic Resistance Movement [Hamas] Political Unit, strongly criticized the wave of normalizing relations of Arab countries with the occupation regime.

"It is odd that there are those who prevent the Palestinians from entering or work in their countries, but when they wanted to normalize relations with the [zionists] enemy they justified their action by claiming they wanted to help the Palestinians and end their suffering," Abu Marzouk stated on his Twitter page.

The Hamas official affirmed that the Palestinians did not ask anyone in the region to establish ties with occupation regime in order to help them, adding that the Arab peace initiative, which was launched by Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz in 2002, stipulated an end to the occupation before normalization.

Recently, occupation regime premier Benjamin Netanyahu paid a visit to Oman at the invitation of Sultan Qaboos bin Said.

Occupation regime minister of sports and culture Miri Regev also received a warm welcome in the United Arab Emirates and met with local officials during a recent visit to the country.

A group of athletes from the occupation regime also participated in gymnastics competitions in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
