“Hamas welcomes the unanimous decisions taken by the UNESCO in its meeting on July 1, 2020, in which it restated Palestinian rights, especially rejecting the Israeli bullying in the West Bank and the annexation of new swaths from it forcibly and adhering to protecting the Palestinians religious and cultural heritage,” Naim said.
“Hamas thinks that this unanimity is a new clue on the isolation of the Israeli occupation and the failure of the Israeli-US pressure in favor of the Israeli colonial project established on the land of Palestine. These decisions, along with dozens of previous ones, should be changed into actions on the ground to force the Israeli occupation to respect the inalienable Palestinian rights,” he added.
