In a speech over the phone at the funeral service on Saturday, Haneyya said that the stately participation of Hamas cadres in the funeral of Qabha reflected the Movement’s ability to absorb changes, adapt to all circumstances and overcome challenges.
He also said that the funeral procession reasserted that the al-Ayyash’s West Bank is still loyal to its resistance and that al-Qassam Brigades is still known for its men and people who make great sacrifices to defend Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque.
“Such solemn funeral can only be for great and loyal people, who carried the holy Qur’an and the gun together in their hands and were always in the front positions,” the Hamas leader underlined.
