Hope Caravan delivers food aid to thousands of families in Batman

Hope Caravan Organization has delivered food aid to thousands of poor, needy and orphan families in Batman province of southeastern Turkey.

Accelerating the relief efforts during Ramadan, Batman Humanitarian Relief Training and Culture Association [Batman Hope Caravan], which is a bridge between the poor and the needy and the rich, again put smiles on hundreds of people's faces by delivering food aid to thousands of needy and orphan families in the city.

“Since 2005, when we were founded in Batman, as the Hope Caravan, we have always been the hope of the victims and the needy, and we continue to provide in-kind and cash aid to thousands of families every year,” said Mehmet Ali Işık, the chairman of the organization.

“Today, we have intensified our relief efforts for the needy who have lost their jobs due to both the month of Ramadan and the covid-19 outbreak that affects millions of people around the world. Our Prophet Muhammed, peace and blessings be upon him, said, ‘Guard yourself from the Hellfire, even with half of a date in charity. If one cannot find it, then with a kind word’. Here, we deliver all kinds of in-kind and cash aid to the needy,” he added.
