Hot food from philanthropists to the refugees on the streets

Fled civil war in their country, hundreds of refugees who came Turkiye's SE Tatvan's bus station to go to western provinces were given hot meat served by philanthropists.

Hundreds of refugees, who fled from civil war in their countries and came to Tatvan, district of Bitlis, are suffering hard times. Refugees, who came from various countries, especially from Afghanistan and Pakistan, are trying to survive in Tatvan bus station, were served hot meals by a group of philanthropists.

There are hundreds of refugee, including babies and children, staying out at night in the bus station in Tatvan. The refugees, who are hungry and free of charge, were served by charitable. The philanthropists, who distribute hot meals every day to the refugees, want the wars to be over and the refugee problem to be resolved.

On behalf of philanthropists, Sinan Kıranshal, who stated to ILKHA's correspondent, said that a group of people from Tatvan, along with a philanthropist distribute hot food every day in the Tatvan bus station to hundreds of hungry refugees, who fled from the war in their countries.

Human traffickers leave the refugees on their own after they cross the border

As a group of Muslims in Tatvan, we began to distribute hot meals to Afghan and Pakistani refugees in the bus station," said Kıranşal, who stated that the refugees trying to go to the western cities are victims in the way. "Approximately 120 to 150 refugees come and go each day. The refugees are abandoned after being trafficked by human traffickers on the border. The refugees, who are left to their own self, are trying to go from here to Istanbul and Ankara," he added.

"We feel a twinge of guilt about refugees when we see them on the streets"

Drawing attention to the fact that the situation of refugees living outside for many days is pitiful, Kıranşal emphasized that everyone should put their hand under the stone for the refugees, he said:

"We feel a twinge of guilt about refugees when we see them on the streets. We have made a call to our philanthropist people at least for a solution to the food problem of these brothers and sisters. As Muslims, we are trying to do our part. As Muslims, we accept them as brothers. We have about 120 refugee brothers here."

Lastly calling to philanthropists, Kiranşal stated that Muslims, especially those with financial means, should mobilize to meet food and drink of refugees at least.
