Expressing its support for UN’s call for a halt to armed conflict to fight the coronavirus pandemic, HÜDA PAR said: "We support UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres' call for a global ceasefire.”
“We have found it meaningful and support Guterres’ call to halt armed conflicts in order to open humanitarian corridors to vulnerable areas and to combat the pandemic. Warring parties should join this call. We call on all people of conscience to support this call and serve world peace,” HÜDA PAR said.
“Everyone is at risk in the same level and needs each other to get out of it”
Point to the importance of solidarity in the fight against pandemic, HÜDA PAR went on to say: “With the rapid spread of coronavirus around the world, it became clear once again that in order to fight and defeat Covid-19, the whole world must cooperate, work together and coordinate measures. There is no difference between the largest country in the world and the smallest country or the richest country and the poorest country in the face of global disasters, pandemics, humanitarian crises. Everyone is at risk in the same way, and they need each other to deal with it.”
“The peoples of the world must learn to live together despite all the problems between them”
HÜDA PAR stated: “The peoples of the world have to learn to live together despite all the problems between them. The all countries on world are affected by each other in some way, whether they want to or not. Peace and unrest are common in the world. As long as the strategy of selfishness and self-interest that dominates world politics continues, everyone will continue to take their shares of the disasters in the race to destroy the world. In the same way, the world will be much more beautiful and peaceful as soon as everyone accepts that there are states and societies living in the world besides themselves and that they have to share the world with them.”
"We invite all states to live in peace and to end armed conflict"
Calling on all the countries to end the wars, HÜDA PAR said: “Coronavirus should be a means for the world to understand this truth. We call on all states to live in peace and put an end to armed conflict. The peace and happiness of no people can be built on the calamities or misery of other peoples. Since there is no way for any people to get out of the world, we have to learn to live together. Therefore, let us all live justice and peace together instead of experiencing war and chaos together.”
