Iran's uranium stockpile rises to 370 kilograms

Behruz Kemalvendi, a spokesman for Iran's Atomic Energy Authority, said stockpiles of enriched uranium has reached 370 kilograms.

Kemalvendi said they will increase heavy water stock to over 130 tons and there are no limitations on this issue.

Iran is able to hold up to 300 kilograms of uranium under the 5 permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and the nuclear agreement signed between Germany and Iran in 2015.

Iran also has to keep its heavy water stockpile below 130 tones under the deal and is obliged to move it out of the country if it lapses.

Tehran's administration says it will not carry out its commitments on the rate and quantity of uranium after the US withdraws from the nuclear deal.
