Iraq to impose curfew in Eid al-Fitr

The Iraqi authorities has decided to impose full curfew across the country in the coming Eid al-Fitr to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

The curfew will be partial be partial from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am during the holy month of Ramadan and it will be complete in the days of Eid al-Fitr, according to statement by Iraq’s Higher Committee for Health and National Safety.

Iraq has so far reported a total of 2,767 coronavirus cases, with 109 deaths and 1,734 recoveries.
