ISIL bombs two oil wells in northern Iraq

ISIL bombed two oil wells at Khabbaz oilfield on the outskirts of Kirkuk, the local reports said.

The oil production in the field was not affected, Iraqi sources said.

Although no group has claimed immediate responsibility, Iraqi officials said that the ISIL was responsible for the two blasts.

Khabbaz is a small oilfield 20 kilometers southwest of Kirkuk with a maximum production capacity of 25,000 barrels per day.
