Jordanian Foreign Ministry condemns violations against Aqsa Mosque

The Jordanian Foreign Ministry condemns violations against Masjid Al-Aqsa, demanding the occupation to respect international law.

The Jordanian Foreign Ministry condemns the continued violations of the zionist terrorist gangs against Masjid Al-Aqsa and calls for an immediate end to the violations targeting the officials of the Department of Islamic foundations.

A spokesman for the Ministry, Sufian Qudah issued a statement on the issue, said the occupation must comply with international law

"The zionists occupying authority must uphold its obligations in accordance with international law, and respect the historic and legal status of the holy sites and the feelings of Muslims, especially during the last 10 days of the Holy month of Ramadan," the spokesperson said.

He called on zionists occupation gags to immediately halt all provocations in al-Aqsa Mosque and held zionists fully responsible for the safety of the holy mosque and worshippers.

According to international law, the Department of Islamic foundations of Jerusalem, which is affiliated with the Jordanian Ministry of foundations, sacred places and Islamic Affairs, is responsible for the foundations of Masjid Al Aqsa and Jerusalem.
