Last respect to victims of election fight in Malatya

Two people, who lost their lives in the armed clash during the voting process in Pütürge district of Malatya, east of Turkiye, were buried Tuesday.

Two people, who were killed in the debate on election day in Malatya's Pütürge were buried in their village after the funeral prayer.

The funerals of the cousins Ilyas and Hasan Aktas, who died in the election-related clash in Bölünmez village of Pütürge district, were brought to their villages by a funeral transport vehicle after the autopsy procedures in Malatya Forensic Medicine Institute.

Enes Yildirim, the mufti of the town, performed the funeral prayer in the village square. After the prayer, which was held by Yıldırım, Hasan and Ilyas Aktas were buried in the village cemetery with the tears of their relatives.

Malatya Governor Aydın Barus, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Necmi Ince, Provincial Police Director Ömer Urhal, Saadet Party Vice Chairman Yaşar Canbay, Ismail Hakki Kiraz, party members, families, and villagers participated to the funeral ceremony.
