Wehbe was appointed on August 3 as the foreign minister following the resignation of Nassif Hitti. He previously served as the diplomatic adviser of Lebanese President Michel Aoun.
Lebanon has so far reported 21,324 confirmed coronavirus cases, with 207 deaths and 6,722 recoveries.
