Macron awards highest French state medal to Egyptian dictator Sisi

It was revealed that Macron has bestowed the Legion d'Honneur award to dictator Sisi of Egypt.

Egypt's military dictator Abdelfattah Sisi, who came to power with the coup, was awarded the French Legion d'Honneur medal of honor at the Elysee Palace in France, where he came for an official visit.

Sisi regime carries out a horrifying crackdown on its dissidents, especially human rights activists.

French media outlets learned of the ceremony, which was hidden from public view, from Egyptian regime's official website.

The Legion of Honour is the highest French order of merit for military and civil merits, established in 1802 by Napoleon Bonaparte and retained by all later French governments and régimes.
