Mosque attack in Nigeria: 53 people killed

In Nigeria, 53 people were killed and at least 60 people were wounded in an attack on a mosque.

A suicide bomb attack carried out on a mosque in the western African country in Adamawa province east of Nigeria, 53 people reportedly lost their lives while 60 others were wounded.

Police stated that during the afternoon prayer, double suicide bombs attacked the mosque community in Yan Gwajo district of Adamawa province.

It was stated that at least 53 people were killed in the attack while dozens wounded were rushed to hospitals.

No one has yet claimed the responsibility. Due to the conflicts in the country caused by the terror of the state, hundreds of thousands of people have displaced.
