Most of the military vehicles in Germany are unusable

Germany's defense ministry said only one-third of the military vehicles delivered to German military service last year are operational.

Peter Tauber, the official Secretary of the German Ministry of Defense, announced that only 38 percent of each 97 military vehicles delivered to the military last year are useable.

Received last year by the German army, the 27 of 71 Puma tanks of, 4 of 8 A400M cargo planes, 2 of 7 Tiger fighter helicopters, only 4 of 7 NH90 shipping helicopters are fully operational said the defense ministry.

It turned out that the Eurofighter war jets were also unusable due to the problem with their computer systems.

Previously, the National Interest, a Washington-based military magazine, wrote that it is embarrassing for the richest country in Europe and that it is incapable of fulfilling the basic duties of the German Navy as a result of inadequate financing and poor planning.
